First, I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a few days. It has been mostly calm and quiet.
Thursday morning I woke up to a chemo spill. Thank goodness there wasn’t much chemo in the bag when it broke!
Thank you to everyone that has been bring food! It’s been delicious.
Friday we went to to doctor. He seems to think Craig’s lack of pain might be because the chemo is working and might be shrinking the tumor. We haven’t done any test to confirm that, but it would be nice. I being the pessimist I am think he’s just on too much pain medication. The doctor also said that if he is still pain free next Friday then they will start backing down some of the pain pills.
Craig is still sleeping a lot but at least he isn’t in pain!
We are still waiting to hear back from Cleveland clinic… again. I plan to start harassing them Monday.
We are still hoping to be able to get some grants for the pill for of the chemo that Craig has to take everyday. Our insurance will p\only pay $5,000 of the $7,000 dollars a month for the drug. Currently Craig is taking that medication in liquid form through a pump. ( Hench the chemo spill Thursday) $2,000 a month is a little more then we can pay (lol ok so it’s A LOT more) so we hope the grant money comes through! If anyone wants to help with our medical expenses then you can go to www.help4craig.org and donate. Every little bit helps! We also need lots of prayer to get through the next few years.
Thank you for taking the time to read the ramblings of an at-home mom.
